Our parent champion group (Bexley F.L.A.R.E.) are preparing for a joint training workshop on collaborative work with practitioners due to take place on 25 October. The workshop will help us to think about how we can develop our restorative practice with families in a variety of settings and situations.
The workshop will run from 9.30am to midday and will be entitled ‘Learning from Bexley Families’. It will be an opportunity to observe a conversation between some practitioners and F.L.A.R.E. and other parent champions and you will be able to feedback and reflect on the session. We hope to encourage all practitioners to take the learning to their respective organisations and most importantly to enhance their own practice.
Please send expressions of interest to our mailbox (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to be a practice observer on the 25 October.
We would also wish to hear about any parents, carers, who you think would be interested in observing and contributing feedback on the day, so please let us know via the mailbox if you would like us to discuss the session with anyone in particular. We want to learn from them as much as possible.
Many thanks to F.L.A.R.E. members who spoke so fabulously and inspiringly at the recent Signs of Safety conference. What a great event and so brilliant to have their contributions! Please do think of F.L.A.R.E. for any learning events you may be planning and contact Alanna@bexleymoorings.co.uk and / or our S.H.I.E.L.D. mailbox with any queries, and or let us know of any parents and carers you think may be interested in joining F.L.A.R.E.
