S.H.I.E.L.D. Live @ 9 Broadcasts

From February 2025, Bexley S.H.I.E.L.D. are holding short, 20-minute monthly broadcasts to share the stories and learning from Bexley’s Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (LCSPRs) and Rapid Reviews in a new bite-sized format. These are designed to be joined and experienced live or played back/listened to at a more convenient time.

Each broadcast contains information and discussion between the S.H.I.E.L.D. team and representatives from Bexley S.H.I.E.L.D. ‘s statutory safeguarding partners (the Police, the ICB and LB Bexley) and the wider group of relevant agencies who working with children and young people in Bexley. We will discuss the themes arising from reviews, what key learning professionals should take from the reviews, and how the lessons learnt should inform future practice. S.H.I.E.L.D. Live @ 9 also spotlights new or updated resources, highlights training opportunities, and shares news from key partners.

Please note that given the nature of some of the reviews discussed, some of you may find the content upsetting on occasion, please watch with discretion. We suggest watching during office hours if you are worried (when colleagues and/or your line manager are around).
