In 2018, the Department for Education published ‘Information sharing advice for safeguarding practitioners’. The advice is for practitioners and senior managers to help decide when and how to share personal information legally and professionally. The advice is being refreshed in 2023. GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

The Data Protection Act 2018 controls how your personal information is used by organisations, businesses or the government. The Data Protection Act 2018 is the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
