Children who go missing from home, care and education

The multi-agency response to children and young people who go missing is considered in the weekly CREST Referral and Missing Meeting (CRAMM) and (where appropriate) the monthly Operational Children at Risk of Exploitation Safeguarding Task Group (CREST).

In addition, Strategic CREST meets bi-monthly to consider the themes and trends identified by the Operational CREST – this meeting is co-chaired by the Police and the Local Authority Children’s Social Care.
