Bexley S.H.I.E.L.D. Early Help Strategy

Bexley S.H.I.E.L.D. held a community conference in February 2024 on Early Help in Bexley. One product of the conference was Bexley S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Early Help Strategy (first issued in February 2025). An updated version is now available:

The strategy contains an action plan (see Appendix 2 of the document) and has been updated to show progress with a number of workstreams relating to Early Help. A further update is planned for 2027/28.

The Department for Education’s Early Help System Guide (published in March 2022) is a valuable resource and has been used to develop our local strategy.
