3 Safeguarding Partners in Bexley

Bexley S.H.I.E.L.D. is led by the 3 named statutory partners: the London Borough of Bexley, South East London Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the South East Basic Command Unit (Metropolitan Police).

Working Together 2023 names the Lead Safeguarding Partners (LSPs) from each of the 3 safeguarding partners: the Chief Officer of the Police, for local authority Chief Executive, and the ICB Chief Executive (Working-together-to-safeguard-children).

For Bexley, the LSPs are:

• Paul Thorogood, Chief Executive – London Borough of Bexley
• Andrew Bland, Chief Executive Officer –  NHS South East London Integrated Care Board
• Trevor Lawry, Chief Superintendent/Borough Commander – South East Basic Command Unit (Metropolitan Police)
